Aipan art Ganesh chowki Aipan Kala means to smear or to make shape with fingers. Aipan is a type of Alpana or drawing or Rangoli, which is depicted by the residents of Uttarakhand region in their auspicious works. In the hilly areas of Uttarakhand, on the occasion of any festival or auspicious work, on the ground and on the wall, a figure made of rice (powdered rice), geru (natural red soil or red chalk), turmeric, barley, pithya (roli), which can be seen There is communication of positive energy in the mind and brain, and there is a feeling of invocation of positive powers, it is the traditional and mythological folk art of Uttarakhand. The history of Aipan art is eternal. It is believed that Aipan, the famous folk art form of Uttarakhand, has been going on since time immemorial. This art has a connection with tantra, mantra and spirituality. In the region of Uttarakhand, the tradition of decorating the main door of our homes, and the temple and post altar on auspicious occasions and on festivals and rituals has been mythological. Ideally paintings don't require much care as its a vertical surface, hence dust doesn't settle quite easily. You can gently dry dust the painting once in a month. You can also gently use a slightly damp cloth and dab it gently over the surface to capture the dust particles. You can do this once in 6 months.
