This is a monochromatic cityscape Acrylic painting of Banaras ghat. This ghat is very famous for its religious significant. I keep this painting in black & white but a little bit red touch makes it more beautiful & eye-catching . Banaras is famous for shiv temple so, I've highlighted the temple , temple roofs and umbrellas with pops of red to create a visually striking contrast . Staircases lead up to a series of buildings with diverse architectural styles, while boats idle quietly on the reflective water.
Ideally paintings don't require much care as its a vertical surface, hence dust doesn't settle quite easily. You can gently dry dust the painting once in a month. You can also gently use a slightly damp cloth and dab it gently over the surface to capture the dust particles. You can do this once in 6 months.
Please do not use soap water, detergent, disinfectants or any chemicals over the painting as it might dissolve the colors. Paper and cloth paintings are usually framed with a glass on top, hence the artwork will remain intact. You would just need to clean the glass.
