The mood of the painting is lively and invigorating. The vibrant colors and rhythmic patterns evoke feelings of excitement and positivity, inspiring a sense of movement and progression.
The composition centers around concentric circles, gradually expanding outward. This creates a focal point that draws the viewer's eye into the depths of the painting, while the symmetry maintains a sense of order and structure.
Dominated by bold reds, yellows, and blacks, the color palette creates a striking visual contrast. The bright hues energize the composition, while the alternating patterns enhance depth and movement, making the painting visually dynamic.

As per traditional Madhubani belief, fishes are a symbol of Auspiciousness, and divinity. They also symbolise a transcendence into the spiritual world. In this painting, the fishes that are in circular motion are rushing towards the centre, which then takes them to the other world of spirituality. The colours, red and yellow have been chosen specifically, since red here denotes faith, and yellow brings hope to the viewers of the painting. In total, there are nine layers (the last one is vaguely visible at the end) since nine has a lot of interpretations in “adhyatma”. To name a few, these symbolise Navagraha, devi’s navaroopa, and the nine months of being in the garbha.
