Being from Gaya; Buddha has been an integral part of art and architecture of my life. It is most common art form. However I wished to give it a spin this time. Rather than a regular meditative Buddha generally painted in metallic or earthy colours; I thought why not put some energy in a black stone Buddha. My aim was to show the love and respect people shower on these tiny torsos. It depicts Buddha in a dark cave meditating while his followers showered him with bright colours and beautiful white flowers. It has for so long been locked up in my storage. Now I thought is high time that this gets a home.
Ideally paintings don't require much care as its a vertical surface, hence dust doesn't settle quite easily. You can gently dry dust the painting once in a month. You can also gently use a slightly damp cloth and dab it gently over the surface to capture the dust particles. You can do this once in 6 months.
Please do not use soap water, detergent, disinfectants or any chemicals over the painting as it might dissolve the colors. Paper and cloth paintings are usually framed with a glass on top, hence the artwork will remain intact. You would just need to clean the glass. Always keep artworks away from direct sunlight and also from walls having water leakage problem, - as both can damage it.

- Framed artworks are shipped in thermocol boxes, secured with multiple layers of bubble wraps.
