Artist's Notes

Lord Ganesha seen sitting and reading. The turban is of a very maharashtrian peshwa era style. There is a bunch of hibiscus flowers seen in the background. Hibiscus flowers are extensively used to attract his attention and please the lord. Coming in varying stunning shades of red these shrubs are associated with destruction of enemies and their colour signifies prosperity. There is a bit of texture in the painting as seen. Painting is done in the year 2013.

Ideally paintings don't require much care as its a vertical surface, hence dust doesn't settle quite easily. You can gently dry dust the painting once in a month.
