The painting illustrates a scene from the epic Ramayana, focusing on key characters from Indian mythology. It conveys a sense of devotion, respect, and connection between the characters, with Hanuman seeking blessings from Lord Rama.
The style is traditional Indian figurative art with strong mythological influences. The artist uses detailed character expressions and body posture to convey the emotional depth of each character, typical of epic storytelling in Indian art.

Its spiritual and devotional theme adds a calming and reflective atmosphere to spaces that encourage introspection and tranquility. This artwork will complement any room or space beyond those mentioned, depending on individual preference.
The mood is reverent and spiritual, with a sense of devotion and respect emanating from the interaction between the characters. It invokes feelings of peace, moral strength, and divine presence.
The composition is balanced, with the central figure of Lord Rama drawing attention due to his seated position and brighter colors. Hanuman kneels in a subservient posture, while another figure stands in the background, creating a triangular visual flow that guides the viewer's gaze across the scene.
The palette predominantly consists of natural, earthy tones like green, yellow, and orange, with vivid highlights. The use of purple and orange on the central character adds a mystical and divine quality to the painting.

The name R?m?ya?a is composed of two words, R?ma and aya?a. R?ma, the name of the main character of the epic, has two contextual meanings. In the Atharvaveda, it means 'dark, dark-coloured, black' and is related to the word r?tri which means 'darkness or stillness of night'. The other meaning, which can be found in the Mahabharata, is 'pleasing, pleasant, charming, lovely, beautiful'.The word ayana means travel or journey. Thus, R?m?ya?a means "Rama's journey", with ayana altered to aya?a due to the Sanskrit grammar rule of internal sandhi.
