Hailing from a village that is located a little outside the city of Bangalore in the borders of Karnataka and Tamilnadu, The conflict of the urban and rural has always been the center of my works. As the city continues to devour the little villages around them, displacing the people and forcefully including them as participants of the urbanization process. We can see lot of memories. Watercolor is my favorite, I like to work on paper with wet and wet method, I work this in 2023. Working abstract or figurative for me is like meditation, watercolors are very sensitive to work. The work with paper, you can absorb my work with figurative forms nor abstract its viewers view. Use of color needs no realistic space and no binding signs. My work is an expression of the intermingling of both joy and pain: the human condition and tracks the line between abstraction and figuration"
