A nostalgic cityscape featuring a historical monument and a traditional rickshaw in muted tones.
The painting portrays a heritage city scene featuring a grand monument in the background, along with an iconic rickshaw in the foreground. It captures the essence of traditional life coexisting with historical grandeur.
The painting combines realistic and impressionist elements, focusing on architectural details while using expressive brushstrokes. The balance of sharp and soft lines creates a sense of depth and movement. The textured surface gives an aged, timeless effect.
This painting would be ideal for spaces like living rooms, offices, or hotel lobbies, where it can evoke conversations about history, culture, and architecture. Its calming tones would also suit quiet, reflective spaces such as libraries or studies. This artwork will complement any room or space beyond those mentioned, depending on individual preference.
The mood is reflective and nostalgic, evoking a sense of longing for the past. The muted tones and misty backdrop create a contemplative feeling, while the use of red offers a subtle sense of warmth and life.
The composition is well-balanced with the rickshaw positioned on the left in the foreground, drawing the viewer's eye. The grand monument in the background is symmetrical, providing a strong central focal point, while the figures and trees add activity and organic flow.
The colour palette is predominantly monochromatic, with shades of grey and white creating a misty, nostalgic atmosphere. Red is used as an accent on the rickshaw and certain parts of the monument, adding a pop of vibrancy.

Ideally paintings don't require much care as its a vertical surface, hence dust doesn't settle quite easily. You can gently dry dust the painting once in a month. You can also gently use a slightly damp cloth and dab it gently over the surface to capture the dust particles. You can do this once in 6 months.
Please do not use soap water, detergent, disinfectants or any chemicals over the painting as it might dissolve the colors. Paper and cloth paintings are usually framed with a glass on top, hence the artwork will remain intact. You would just need to clean the glass.
