This work is an imagination of the various ancient European elements in a single frame portraying both the peaceful and violent side of a kingdom in the same work. The king is glorified but there are dark elements that only the past knows. Inspired from the tattoo style of art, this piece contains several elements packed in a single frame that includes spartan warriors, guardian angels, clocks and cathedrals among other things. The pencils used in this work range from 2B to 8B and erasers play a crucial part in highlighting the details of the lion, etc. The pencil effect gives this work an antique and elegant feel, which supports the overall theme. From the viewers perspective, this one doesn't need a second invitation to look at. It took me close to 75 hours to complete this piece of pencil art. The artwork has an elegant black frame of 2 inches thickness.
Ideally paintings don't require much care as its a vertical surface, hence dust doesn't settle quite easily. You can gently dry dust the painting once in a month. You can also gently use a slightly damp cloth and dab it gently over the surface to capture the dust particles. You can do this once in 6 months.
Please do not use soap water, detergent, disinfectants or any chemicals over the painting as it might dissolve the colors. Paper and cloth paintings are usually framed with a glass on top, hence the artwork will remain intact. You would just need to clean the glass.
