Title "TULIP TOWN" is inspired from colorful tulips where red tulip symbolizes deep love, pink symbolizes happiness, confidence and purple is for royalty. My deep love for plants and flowers, I think that no matter how old or infirm I may become, I will always have a green patch beside me. Who can resist the feelings of hope and joy that one gets from participating in nature's rebirth? Because tulips are one of the first flowers to bloom in the spring, they also mean rebirth. My deep interest in analytical cubism technique persuades me to experiment with floral still life on palette texture in acrylics.
Ideally paintings don't require much care as its a vertical surface, hence dust doesn't settle quite easily. You can gently dry dust the painting once in a month. You can also gently use a slightly damp cloth and dab it gently over the surface to capture the dust particles. You can do this once in 6 months.
Please do not use soap water, detergent, disinfectants or any chemicals over the painting as it might dissolve the colors. Paper and cloth paintings are usually framed with a glass on top, hence the artwork will remain intact. You would just need to clean the glass.
